Nine Vicious took the stage at The Van Buren in Phoenix on Tuesday night with a sold-out crowd ready to go, but technical problems turned the whole situation into a complete disaster within minutes.
The audio kept cutting out, and the frustration built fast. He wasn’t having it, and the crowd felt his energy shift immediately.
What started as a performance quickly became a confrontation between the artist and the venue’s infrastructure.
According to Arizona’s Family, Nine Vicious was caught on video directing the crowd to express their anger at the venue, telling them the staff was deliberately sabotaging his show.

Attendees said he picked up a security guard’s headset and threw it to the ground, then the two started arguing right there on stage.
After just a few songs, the whole thing fell apart.
Around 9 p.m., roughly an hour after the show was supposed to start, venue staff and off-duty officers told everyone to leave.
But a lot of people weren’t ready to accept what just happened. Some refused to exit and started damaging property inside the venue.
That’s when Phoenix police showed up and things escalated even further.
Officers deployed pepper spray and pepper balls to clear the crowd out. The scene turned chaotic as people rushed toward the exits, trying to escape the chemical irritant.
Police reported that nobody got seriously hurt and no arrests were made, but the damage was already done.
Concertgoers who paid for a full show got maybe thirty minutes of music before everything collapsed.
Nine Vicious has over 1.3 million monthly listeners on Spotify and a significant following on social media, so this wasn’t some unknown artist performing at a small venue, The Van Buren is a legitimate Phoenix spot.
